I have a friend in the greater Atlanta area seraching for an internship. She came across this and asked if it was illegal to require an intern of a certain race. Please advise.

Here is the posting of the internship she did not racially qualify for:

"Looking for an African American male or female to assist in planning operations, logistics, event awareness, set up & execution. Tasks will be split between multiple interns. Must be available every 3rd Wednesday of the month in between 5:30-10pm for no less than 2 hours/no more than 4.5hrs. Interns will be required to attend 2 meetings per month, 1 pre event run down & 1 post event wrap up in addition to 2 conference calls a month."

I sure would not think so unless it's a legal BFOQ...
