Posted 4 months ago Work is considered as serious business and fun at work is generally not entertained by many organizations. While laying such stringent rules, the companies fail to realize that working continuously depletes the quality of performance due to a feeling of dreary. Hence certain fun elements if inculcated, it makes your work interesting. How important is it to include fun elements at work ?

| Posted 4 months ago I would say it is important to have some fun at the work place. Of course within the limits. But if there is just work-work-work at some point people start losing the motivation. The team building activities and staff retreats have been invented with the sole purpose to offer some fun and keep the employees motivated. So, a bit of fun never hurts. |

| Posted 4 months ago "Fun at Work" can no more be an oxymoron... we have been reading and witnessing the results of having fun in the work place. Having activities in the work place not only relieve employees from stress but also increases bonding among all. Everyone would want a happy workplace and plesant atmosphere right? Fun at work helps you to keep your environment more friendly and would keep employees happy and make them more loyal and productive.
It depends on the company to decide how often we need to conduct such activities. We at S7 have fun activities every month end. -Sridevi
