Although to some this may seem to be an overly broad description of the KSAs for an HR Manager, companies typically looking at bringing an individual on board as a manager will be looking for all of it; especially in today's job market. Going through these KSAs and making notes on what areas you might be a little light in will be a wonderful way to increase your worth to a company; one you might currently be with or one in the future. Even if you are not, or will not be, looking for another position, just reviewing these listings could make you a better player in today's HR game.

$how me the money! I suspect this position is now so varied throughout many industries that it's difficult to come up with a dollar value anymore. HR Managers no longer wear just one hat--nowadays, they're usually wearing as many as 3 and 4 due to the current economic climate. I never leave home without my hat rack.

This is too general - functions in human resources have been decentralized to suit industry requirements - hence, even salary scales/comparative data may not be as close to what could be helpful.

This article is very descriptive. I appreciate the details in job function and responsibility, however, I would very much like a comparative salary calculator associated with this article.
