I once had a boss who did the terminator shake, it was very fitting of his personality and needless to say I didn't stay there long.

handshakes are also mirrored by a person's cultural background. i think the firm handshake is still universal

Its very nice presentation but like Mr. ManJesh said if the opposite person shakes his hand in queens, dead fish, terminator way then how we are supposed to shake. Is there any perticular type we have to do?

I think it is amazing how a good introduction and handshake can set the tone for a business meeting. The terminator is my biggest turn off.

This is a great article. I would like to save it to share with my students. How long will this website be up? I teach vocational classes getting at risk students ready to go into the workforce. You wouldn't believe how many of them do NOT know how to shake hands or look you in the eye. By the end of our programs, they finally get it.

I have yet to meet someone who gives "The Queen's Handshake". My dad's British; maybe I'll try him...
